Ritual & Feast

 

 

Join us for an evening of celebration and tradition at the Uppsala Yule Viking Festival Ritual and Feast on December 4th. Gates will open at 4:00 PM, welcoming you into a festive atmosphere with vendors offering unique wares until 10PM. Ritual can be observed by all ages. General admission is observation of Ritual only. Feast ticket allows participation in Ritual. 

At 6:30 PM, gather around for the Yule ritual, a time-honored ceremony celebrating the rebirth of the sun and the coming of longer days. This sacred ritual will be a moment of reflection, gratitude, and community. Feast Dinner is ages 21 and older.

ONLY 50 FEAST TICKETS ISSUED THIS YEAR

If a Feast Ticket is purchased you will be participating in the Ritual if you desire. Following the ritual, at 7:00 PM, indulge in a grand feast featuring a three-course meal.

NO SUBSTITUTIONS WITH THE FEAST.


1st course: Roasted Tomato Bisque soup w/ Crème fresh

Main course: Roasted Filet Tenderloin w/ creamy horseradish sauce, Glazed Baby red potatoes and Heirloom baby carrots 

Filet is served medium rare to medium.

Dessert: Spiced Bread Pudding w/ Blackberry Mead glaze

Souvenir Horn Cup with 4 beverages (ie:Mead, soft drink) of choice during dinner service.

Live Entertainment with Celtica Nova

Your mead or beverage of choice is included, and you’ll receive a free horn glass to take home as a keepsake. Enjoy live entertainment throughout the evening, adding to the joyous occasion.

The evening will continue with a roaring bonfires, creating a warm and inviting space to share stories, songs, and camaraderie. The bonfires will burn until 10:00 PM, allowing ample time to soak in the festive cheer and connect with fellow attendees.
