Heimdallr (Heimdall)

Heimdallr is the vigilant guardian of the Bifröst, the rainbow bridge connecting Ásgarðr to Miðgarðr. Known for his extraordinary senses, Heimdallr can hear grass grow and see for hundreds of miles, making him the perfect watchman against the giants. He is also known for his role in the events of Ragnarök, where he will sound the Gjallarhorn to alert the gods to the onset of the final battle.
