Óðinn (Odin)

Óðinn is the chief of the Æsir gods and the ruler of Asgard. Known for his relentless pursuit of knowledge, Óðinn sacrificed one of his eyes at Mímir's well to gain immense wisdom and hung himself on the world tree Yggdrasill for nine days and nights to discover the secrets of the runes. He is often depicted wielding his spear, Gungnir, which never misses its target, and accompanied by his ravens, Huginn (Thought) and Muninn (Memory), who fly over the world to bring him information. Óðinn is also the father of many prominent gods, including Thor and Baldr.
