Þórr (Thor)

Þórr is one of the most well-known and revered gods in Norse mythology. The son of Óðinn and the jötunn Jörð, Þórr wields the mighty hammer Mjölnir, capable of leveling mountains and defeating giants. As the protector of both gods and humans, he is renowned for his strength, bravery, and his role in maintaining order in the cosmos. Þórr's hammer is also a symbol of consecration and blessing. He rides in a chariot drawn by two goats, Tanngrisnir and Tanngnjóstr, and is associated with storms, lightning, oak trees, and fertility.
